Job Description

Gupta Media is looking for an experienced Senior Social Media Strategist who works at the intersection of creativity, culture, and business. In this role, you will lead social and influencer strategies to connect brands with audiences, drive engagement, and deliver business results.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and lead social media, content, and influencer strategies that drive client growth through audience insights, platform trends, and performance data
  • Act as a trusted client partner, leading planning discussions, presenting recommendations, and identifying opportunities across social channels
  • Collaborate with Creative and Paid Media to deliver integrated social campaigns
  • Lead influencer marketing campaigns from strategy to measurement and reporting
  • Mentor Social Media Managers to elevate the quality and strategic thinking of their social media work across accounts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in an agency or marketing role with a dedicated organic social media focus
  • Strong portfolio of successful campaigns, demonstrating creative storytelling ability across multiple social platforms that build awareness, engage new and existing customers, and increase conversions
  • Excellent communication and creative thinking skills with the ability to use data to inform strategic decisions
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Confident in presenting and defending social strategies to clients, stakeholders, and internal leadership teams
  • Driven to learn new things and constantly improve on current methods
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to work in a variety of media, meet tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adjust as circumstances change
