Job Description:

The role of the Team Leader is to provide support and guidance to a team of social care workers, whilst making sure you always provide the highest level of care and lead by example. You will also liaise with the seniors in the home reporting any matters of concern. You must have experience in the care sector and have the willingness to learn and expand on your previous knowledge. Not only will you make a huge difference to people's lives, but you'll be able to enjoy days out, trips away and join in with many more activities, all of which ensures the people we work with are safe, happy and lead fulfilling lives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide support and guidance to a team of social care workers
  • Ensure highest level of care and lead by example
  • Liaise with seniors in the home reporting any matters of concern
  • Take the lead supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in a residential care environment
  • Supervise a team and assist with overall management of the home
  • Liaise with managers and other shift leaders
  • Execute tasks in a professional, timely and accurate manner
  • Supervise and share mealtimes with residents
  • Assist residents in their daily activities
  • Use initiative when supporting residents during activities and day-to-day tasks

Requirements:

  • Experience in the care sector
  • Willingness to learn and expand on previous knowledge
  • Being patient, reliable, flexible, a team player and a good communicator
