Senior SOC Engineer

The Senior SOC Engineer/Analyst will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our security operations. This individual will serve as a technical expert, combining deep engineering skills with analytical capabilities to investigate security alerts, develop automated solutions, and improve overall team performance.

• 5+ total years of experience in either an IT Help Desk or SOC style role
• 3+ years of experience in at least one or more programming languages relevant to the job description is crucial (Java, Python, C++, C#, JavaScript, Go, Rust, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience with networking concepts & protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, HTTPS, VPN, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience with various identity and access management / authentication concepts and technologies

• Provide evidence of or obtain one or more certifications, including but not limited to Network+, Security+, CySA+, CCSP, CCSK, GCIH, GCIA, GCFE, GREM, GCFA, GSEC, CEH, CISSP, AWS, Blue Team Level 1 or 2, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer or equivalent
