Job Description:

We are currently looking for an Project Electrical Engineer HV to join our Construction team, Srem Project, Bulgaria. By joining this role, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing and managing electrical high-voltage aspects of the project, ensuring the successful execution of electrical systems. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems while adhering to safety regulations and project timelines.

Job Responsibility:

  • Study and understanding project designs, crosscheck for errors, and report to the Construction Manager
  • Follow-up of the connection process with the local authorities
  • Report daily and weekly progress and materials to the Construction Manager
  • Monitor construction material stock
  • Supervise and support subcontractor activities to ensure that the design compliance in accordance with the Bulgarian Laws and procedures
  • Enforce subcontractors' quality controls and implement the project's quality control program
  • Oversee subcontractors' installation work quality and precision to the design
  • General supervision of Grid Connection Works, construction of HV Substations and construction of HV lines and coordination with Construction Manager, Site Engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Support the implementation of the relevant HV procedures

Requirements:

  • University or Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering – High voltage
  • Previous experience in the connection of renewables projects (solar, wind & batteries) is considered an advantage
  • 8+ years of experience in similar position
  • Preferably experienced in Power Plant construction, HV substations and HV lines
  • Excellent command of the English and Bulgarian Languages
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
  • Advanced use of AutoCAD software
  • Flexibility to relocate to the project site

Previous experience in the connection of renewables projects (solar, wind & batteries)
