Job Description:

We are looking for a solution implementer or model designer in the disciplines of Material Balance and Production Accounting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate as Team member or Lead Engineer in the Implementation of Sigmafine according to project scope and specifications
  • Responsible for technical delivery of the project
  • Develop and approve project related documentation (application design, functional design, detail design, user manuals, test strategies, training material)
  • Deliver training courses on Pimsoft Delivery Services line
  • Perform Technical Advisory Role in the projects on technical issues
  • Periodically provide status updates to the project manager on project issues and progress
  • Provide required support for Business Consultancy and generation of Technical proposals
  • Develop internal tools to streamline the implementation of projects
  • To be prepared to travel up to 50%
  • Be a good Ambassador of Pimsoft at the client site

Requirements:

  • Degree and Education background: Computer Science, Chemical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer, Software Engineer and related disciplines
  • 5 years of industrial experience which 3 years of experience in implementing Solutions related to the Energy Environment
  • Ability to understand/troubleshoot process and have good analytical/reasoning ability
  • Ability to work with Material Balance Production Accounting (Pimsoft Sigmafine or other) Manufacturing Execution System, Process Historian (OSIsoft PI), Software Development Kits, Business Intelligence applications and Relational Databases (Oracle or SQL Server)
  • Broad knowledge of refinery and petrochemical process technologies, (e.g., crude unit, reformer, catalytic cracker, olefins furnace cracker, etc.) for those covering projects under Material Balance and Oil Movements
  • Sound systems/programming experience in VB.NET, C#, SQL, MDX, MS SQL Reporting Services, Web Services, databases, and SDLC relevant to project implementation
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills (English essential, Other Languages is an added asset)
  • Technical/professional knowledge & skills: expertise demonstrated through problem-solving, applying technical knowledge, and product and service management for the functional area which one operates
