Job Description

The role is to take responsibility for Settlement functions of the Company, and maintain appropriate recording and controls in place around these functions. To maintain client relationships where applicable for both private clients, Fund Managers and Institutions. Working in an exciting and busy team with no two days being the same

Job Responsibility

  • Daily chasing of contract notes with respective Fund Managers always making sure outstanding items are kept to a minimum
  • Develop service procedures, policies, and standards of service
  • Daily production of various reports to assists both internal and external clients
  • To work closely with internal and external clients, to ensure the highest standards of client services are always maintained
  • Ensure adherence to strict internal and regulatory control policies including the accurate collection & completion of all required documentation
  • Perform additional duties as required
  • Conform to Company's AML procedures and guidelines at all times
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy

Requirements

  • Experience in a Settlement department
  • Strong knowledge of Unit Trust funds and Equity markets
  • Previous experience communicating with Custodians
  • Experience in servicing customers
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Strong communication skills (both written/ verbal)
  • A good eye for detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to plan own work and manage to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with multiple teams to investigate and problem solve
  • Assist Team leader with ad hoc duties
