Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Platform Engineer to strengthen and evolve enterprise ServiceNow capabilities. This Long-term Contract position will focus on platform administration, workflow automation, integrations, and ongoing performance improvement in a complex environment. The person in this role will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions that support operational goals. Success in this position requires strong hands-on expertise, sound architectural judgment, and the ability to guide best practices across the platform.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring reliable operation across development, testing, and production environments
  • Build and refine platform features such as workflows, business rules, client-side logic, dashboards, and reporting tools to improve service delivery and efficiency
  • Oversee user access, role assignments, and security controls to maintain compliance with internal governance standards
  • Plan and execute platform upgrades, patching activities, and release coordination while evaluating impact on connected systems
  • Design, develop, and support integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications using APIs, IntegrationHub, import processes, and automation tools
  • Configure and maintain Flow Designer assets, subflows, integration actions, and supporting components for streamlined orchestration
  • Support data quality initiatives by improving configuration data accuracy, reducing duplication, and strengthening relationship mapping across the platform
  • Partner with architects, engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot platform and integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend durable corrective actions
  • Create and maintain technical documentation covering configurations, standards, operating procedures, and integration support models

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience administering, developing, and integrating ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments
  • Strong knowledge of core ServiceNow platform capabilities, including ITSM and related modules
  • Advanced experience with JavaScript and GlideScript for developing business rules, script includes, automation logic, and scripted integrations
  • Proven background building and supporting integrations using APIs, IntegrationHub, import sets, transform maps, and middleware or connector tools
  • Experience with discovery, service mapping, event management, and configuration data management practices
  • Understanding of authentication and security methods such as OAuth 2.0, Basic Authentication, and mutual certificate-based connections
  • Ability to work across infrastructure, engineering, and business teams to deliver scalable and supportable platform solutions
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is required
