This is a hands-on technical role for an experienced electronics technician who enjoys solving complex faults and working on advanced technology. You will diagnose and repair professional entertainment lighting equipment, including robotic lighting fixtures and electronic control systems, while also supporting and guiding the wider technical team.
Job Responsibility:
Diagnose and repair electronic faults in entertainment lighting equipment
Perform advanced PCB diagnostics and component-level repairs
Troubleshoot robotic fixtures, power supplies, control electronics, motors, and sensors
Use diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
Conduct testing and validation of repaired equipment
Provide technical guidance on complex faults to the service team
Assist in training and supporting the wider technical team
Requirements:
Proven experience in electronics diagnostics and repair
Strong capability to diagnose and repair PCBs at component level
Experience troubleshooting electrical or robotic equipment
Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (preferred)
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in electronics service, diagnostics, or repair
Nice to have:
Experience with entertainment lighting equipment or moving lights
Experience with SMT and through-hole PCB rework
Knowledge of control systems or lighting protocols
