The Advertising Support, Trust and Safety (ASTS) team plays a critical role in protecting users, advertisers, and publishers across Microsoft Advertising. We drive platform integrity and ecosystem health through security, traffic quality, and policy enforcement strategies aligned to advertising and publisher standards. As a Senior Service Engineer in Advertising Trust and Safety, you will operate as a senior technical contributor within a team of experts responsible for the health, reliability, and security of the Microsoft Advertising ecosystem. You will take ownership of complex, ambiguous problem spaces and drive end-to-end resolution, from deep technical investigation to long-term platform improvements. You will combine service engineering, security, and software development expertise to analyse large-scale data and detect anomalous behaviour across the advertising ecosystem. You will lead complex investigations, including fraud and traffic quality, identifying systemic patterns and driving mitigations that protect advertiser ROI and user safety. You will also design scalable, production-grade solutions—leveraging automation, tooling, and AI—to improve detection, reduce operational effort, and strengthen platform integrity and resilience Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
