Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Server Board Design Engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor to designing AMD’s AI server product, you will be part of a board design team to work with a cross-functional team to design and deliver the highest quality proposal/product to the customer. You will be responsible for creating quality and ensuring teamwork success. You and the team will continue to develop, and the product will improve. We also encourage technical innovation to showcase successes and facilitate continuous career development.

Job Responsibility

  • Cross-functional work ability – able to work with functions to design AMD AI product solutions
  • Design review ability – able to provide design review results that include hardware block-level, circuit, and layout, and recommendations
  • Issue Investigation ability- able to debug issues found during the process, bring-up, validation, and production phases
  • Familiar with board Design tool (Cadence's Concept, Allegro)

Requirements

  • 2+ years of industry experience in x86 hardware and product development, and MB design experience
  • Extensive experience with a cross-functional design team
  • Extensive experience with design/debug tools, including Concept, Allegro, and oscilloscopes
  • Extensive experience with board/platform-level debugging, including delivery, sequencing, and analysis
