We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior SEO Specialist to join our performance marketing team. This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for defining and executing our organic search strategy, significantly impacting our online visibility, traffic, and ultimately, our business growth. You will work closely with product, engineering, content, and marketing teams to ensure global SEO best practices are integrated throughout our digital ecosystem.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and Execute SEO Strategy: Lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive global SEO strategies across all company digital properties (website, blog, landing pages, etc.) to drive organic traffic, improve search rankings, and increase conversions
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with product managers, developers, content creators, UX designers, and other marketing specialists to ensure SEO is integrated into all relevant initiatives from conception to launch
Technical SEO Mastery: Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits, identify critical issues, and provide actionable recommendations for site architecture, crawlability, indexability, page speed, mobile-friendliness, and structured data implementation. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure successful execution
Keyword Research & Content Strategy: Perform extensive keyword research to identify high-value opportunities, understand user intent, and inform content strategy. Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-optimized content that resonates with our target audience
On-Page Optimization: Drive on-page optimization efforts, including meta tags, headings, internal linking, and content enhancements, to maximize organic performance
Off-Page SEO & Link Building: Develop and manage effective link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks and improve domain authority
Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics (rankings, traffic, conversions, etc.) using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc. Provide regular insights and recommendations to stakeholders
Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor competitor SEO strategies and industry trends to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO algorithm updates, industry best practices, and emerging technologies, and adapt strategies accordingly
Mentorship & Best Practices: Contribute to the overall SEO knowledge within the team and help champion SEO best practices across the organization
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
5+ years of dedicated experience in SEO, with a proven track record of driving significant organic growth for complex websites, preferably within a tech or SaaS environment
Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and core SEO principles
Expertise in technical SEO, including site architecture, crawl budget optimization, server-side issues, and international SEO considerations
Proficiency with leading SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.)
Understanding of AI search interfaces (SGE, ChatGPT, Gemini) and ranking factors in said AI search interfaces
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, headless CMS) and familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO
Comfortable working in English in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and global environment
Interest or experience in Web3
Nice to have:
Experience with a global SEO strategy
First results in optimising for Generative Search Engines (GEO)
Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles
Experience working in an agile development environment
Knowledge of specific programming languages relevant to web development (e.g., Python for data analysis, JavaScript frameworks for front-end)
A strong portfolio demonstrating successful SEO initiatives
