Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious, proactive Senior SEO Executive to join our team here at Vertu Motors. You will play a key role within our multi‑disciplined agile search team, which brings together specialist skills to create customer‑focused strategies that deliver seamless, relevant and personalised experiences across our Group portfolio of lead generation and ecommerce websites. Reporting into the Head of Search, you will support the development and delivery of our SEO programme, helping to increase organic visibility, traffic and commercial performance across the Group’s websites. You will work closely with wider Search, Content, Product and Digital teams to ensure SEO best practice is embedded across all activity. You will take a lead role in technical SEO delivery and support content optimisation to ensure our websites are best in class. Through a strong understanding of customer search behaviour and intent, you will help maximise coverage across the full customer journey – from early research through to purchase. This role suits someone who is highly data curious, results driven and confident working across multiple stakeholders. You will be comfortable communicating SEO insights in a clear and simple way and proactive in identifying new opportunities to improve performance. Using data, you will continually evaluate the effectiveness of SEO activity and recommend enhancements to drive ongoing improvement.

  • Support the development and delivery of a sector‑leading SEO strategy across multiple websites
  • Drive improvements in technical SEO performance to support ambitious visibility and commercial targets
  • Identify and maximise SEO opportunities to continually improve organic performance
  • Conducting technical SEO audits to ensure on‑page and technical best practice is maintained, supporting implementation and reviewing impact
  • Building and maintaining keyword research aligned to evolving customer search journeys and intent
  • Supporting internal linking strategies and site navigation improvements
  • Collaborating with Content teams to maximise SEO opportunities
  • Supporting local search performance and Google Business Profile (GBP) activity
  • Monitoring and reporting on SEO KPIs and performance against business objectives
