Job Description

This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit’s Commercial Business Units (“Spirit Commercial”). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing’s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial’s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Designs, tests, and implements state-of-the-art security software and hardware
  • Assist with design, test and implementation of secure operating systems, networks, and database products
  • Applies knowledge of technical, analytical, project management, and negotiating skills to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information system assets
  • Develops incident response policies, procedures and analysis
  • Conducts risk assessments and provides recommendations for system and application design
  • Uses encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies
  • Manages relations with security vendors works closely with commercial computer product vendors and other information systems organizations to resolve relevant security issues
