Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Securities Research Specialist to join their Global Research and Economics Group. The role involves conducting research, providing market and sector updates, supporting corporate banking activities, and preparing credit-related documents while interacting with multiple stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

Serve as an individual contributor role in the Global Research and Economics Group
Be responsible for research direction of industries, markets and companies
Provide research coverage with a wide knowledge of the business, marketplace and clients
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Requirements:

4+ years of Securities Research experience
MBA, CA, CFA or master’s in finance from a premier education institute
4+ years’ experience in Corporate Banking, Credit research or Debt advisory
Experience in working in any of the following sectors preferable: Consumer & Retail, Healthcare
Strong inclination towards building a career in Corporate Banking, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking or Capital Markets
Good understanding of Credit metrics, Covenants, Capital structure, financial statement and ratio analysis
Impeccable communication and interpersonal relationship skills
Strong logical, analytical skills and a systematic problem-solving approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications – Power Point and Excel
Strong time management skills
Attention to detail and ability to ensure high quality of deliverables
Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism
Results driven, accountable and ability to work with multiple priorities in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.

Nice to have:

Experience in working in any of the following sectors preferable: Consumer & Retail, Healthcare
Strong inclination towards building a career in Corporate Banking, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking or Capital Markets.
