Job Description:

Senior Securities Operations Specialist role within the Risk Service Programs, Conduct and Insights team within Wealth Investment Management Operations. This team serves as governance for enterprise risk compliance programs and is responsible for execution of risk program processes including performance oversight, control execution, compliance monitoring, and offering credible challenge.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, implement, and execute reoccurring Self-Assurance activities
  • Support other enterprise risk assessments such as Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
  • Support cross functional groups to ensure comprehensive understanding of WIM Operations business process
  • Lead or participate in moderately complex lifecycle initiatives and support tasks
  • Review and analyze moderately complex operational tasks or challenges
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers
  • Resolve moderately complex escalated issues within the scope of responsibility
  • Research moderately complex business risks
  • Lead or contribute to implementation of projects and new or revised processes
  • Partner with other risk support groups, program functional teams and business groups

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of Securities Operations experience
  • Equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 2+ years of Wealth and Investment Management experience (desired)
  • 2+ years of Operational Risk, Change Management, and/or Quality Assurance experience (desired)
  • Cross functional understanding of risk, policy management and controls
  • Strong management reporting skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks and related processes
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Nice to have:

  • 2+ years of Wealth and Investment Management experience
  • 2+ years of Operational Risk, Change Management, and/or Quality Assurance experience
  • Cross functional understanding of risk, policy management and controls
