Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of advanced mRNA and phage display campaigns for target and ligand discovery
  • Provide scientific and operational leadership to project teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines
  • Manage and mentor a team of scientists, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting professional growth
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across bioinformatics, structural biology, and medicinal chemistry to integrate display platforms into broader discovery workflows
  • Represent the company in client interactions, scientific advisory discussions, and strategic planning meetings
  • Contribute to the development of internal R&D programs, identifying new opportunities for platform expansion and therapeutic innovation
  • Oversee resource planning, budgeting, and reporting for display technology projects
  • Publish and present research findings to enhance the company’s scientific visibility and reputation

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in mRNA and/or phage display, with demonstrated impact in drug discovery
  • Strong background in both academic and industrial research environments
  • Proven leadership in scientific project management, team supervision, and innovation
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
  • Experience in CRO or biotech/pharma settings is highly desirable

  • Establish internal capabilities for select analytical assays in R&D labs, including method qualification and troubleshooting for nucleases, guide RNAs, and delivery vehicles
  • Manage relationships with external testing labs (CTLs) and manufacturing partners (CDMOs) to ensure method development, validation, and transfer meet project timelines and regulatory expectations
