At Gubra, we operate one of the world’s most advanced platforms for 3D whole-organ microscopy. We continuously push the boundaries of what large-scale imaging can reveal about brain biology, disease mechanisms, and the efficacy of novel drug candidates. We are looking for a neuroscientist to join our 3D Imaging department. If you have a strong background in brain anatomy and function, are naturally curious and proactive, and value teamwork and collaboration, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
Job Responsibility:
Design, plan and coordinate 3D brain imaging studies in collaboration with cross-functional project teams
Provide expert guidance on neuroanatomical endpoints and study strategy
Interpret complex 3D imaging datasets and provide scientifically rigorous conclusions
Prepare high-quality data presentations and reports
Present scientific results to CRO clients
Operate light sheet microscopes and further develop workflows for high-throughput imaging
Actively contribute to scientific discussions across the department
Requirements:
PhD in neuroscience, biology, or related discipline
Outstanding knowledge of rodent neuroanatomy and cell biology of the brain
Experience with fluorescence microscopy
Strong data interpretation and scientific communication skills
Collaborative mindset and strong team spirit
Proactive, innovative, and solution-oriented approach
Good eye for detail
Nice to have:
Experience with light sheet fluorescence microscopy
Experience with tissue clearing technologies
