Would you like to join a leading international TechBio company dedicated to saving and improving lives? Are you a self-driven and experienced immunologist? Then you might be the person we are looking for to join our team at Evaxion! Based on a deep technological and biological understanding, Evaxion develops pioneering cancer and infectious disease vaccines using advanced AI solutions. We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Scientist in immunology to join our team. Your role As a Senior Scientist in immunology, you will be an essential member of our Vaccine Discovery and Research team. The team is responsible for antigen discovery and preclinical validation of vaccine antigens using in vitro, in vivo, and ex vivo models and assays, with the overall task to identify and develop novel protective vaccine candidates. As Senior Scientist in immunology, you will conduct various laboratory activities across different projects, with the primary goal of producing reliable test results and optimizing lab procedures while adhering to correct procedures, as well as health and safety guidelines. The role also includes documentation and reporting of results both in writing and through presentation in different forums. The position will mainly be lab-based, focusing on executing standard immunoassays, setting up new in vitro and ex vivo assays as well as in vivo disease models. This role will potentially include both infectious disease (bacteria and virus) as well as oncology vaccine projects and a broad immunology knowledge and hands on experience is therefore key to success. The lab work will be performed in Evaxion’s state-of-the-art laboratory and animal facility, while adhering to GMO, BSL-1 and BSL-2 standards, but may also be established in collaboration with local external partners.
