Job Description:

King’s College School, Cascais, part of the Inspired Education Group, is a leading international school located on the beautiful Portuguese Riviera. From August 2026, we are seeking a well-qualified and talented Senior School ICT / Computer Science Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging and challenging ICT and Computer Science lessons that inspire students to achieve academic success and develop the digital and problem-solving skills needed for the future.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating ICT and Computer Science lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum
  • Establish a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity and active learning
  • Model professionalism through punctuality, high standards of behaviour, and consistent expectations for student work
  • Assess, evaluate, and reflect on teaching practice to ensure continuous improvement
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to school-wide learning initiatives
  • Develop high-quality learning resources and digital materials
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and community activities as required
  • Set, mark, and provide meaningful feedback on all forms of student assessment
  • Undertake any other reasonable responsibilities as directed by the Head of School or line manager
