Senior Scada Engineer

• Deliver engineering solutions across SCADA, BMS, SISS ( Panorama or Iconics, WINCC or MEIDS ideally) , and mobile systems
• Produce designs, drawings, and technical documentation to meet customer requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships
• Ensure compliance with QHSE, CDM, and relevant rail standards
• Review technical specifications and provide support to clients, suppliers, and internal teams
• Support project delivery, ensuring progress, quality, and financial targets are met
• Investigate and resolve site issues, implementing corrective actions and sharing lessons learned
• Assist with bids, quotations, and client proposals
• Carry out site surveys, installation, testing, and commissioning activities as required
• Contribute to continuous improvement and support team development
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and technologies

• Experience in rail control systems engineering
• Knowledge of relevant standards (BS, ISO, safety, CDM, rail standards)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to design systems and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience with engineering software/tools (e.g. MS Office, CAD, Visio)
• Programming/configuration experience (e.g. C, Visual Basic, PLC/HMI systems) desirable
• Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/BEng) or equivalent experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good time management and ability to prioritise workload effectively
