Job Description:

As a senior developer, primary responsibility is to design, build, test and deployment of functionalities in Bosch Product Backbone (BOP). This product is a application used by all division of Bosch worldwide. One of the components of this product is the Product Data search. The Product Data search searches with complex rules in AMDP and CDS using S4/HANA core functionalities.

Job Responsibility:

Design, build, test and deployment of functionalities in Bosch Product Backbone (BOP)
Ensure the quality reviews (Unit test) are conducted
Participate in project quality management tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design documents and code reviews
Work closely with Architects and IT Functional Consultants to ensure successful completion of User Stories within committed timeframe

Requirements:

Expert in SAP S/4 HANA Development
Ability to understand business needs and design and implement requirements in SAP ABAP, BRF+, AMDP and CDS views
Ability to learn and understand business processes and improve efficiency and performance of current application using new technologies
Analyze and evaluate requirements for application enhancement with customer and senior architects
Solve business issues by analyzing existing code and proposing solutions using SAP S/4 HANA Services
Prepare technical design documents for unit testing and integration support
Participate in project quality management tasks
Work closely with Architects and IT Functional Consultants
Ability to represent and argue technical and implementation decisions
Document implementation using UML/TOGAF in Sparx Enterprise Architect
Continually enhance existing skills and seek new areas for personal development
3rd Level Support within own component
Provide knowledge transfer to new team members and mentor them
5+ years of hands-on development experience on S/4 HANA, AMDPs and CDS views
ABAP (Other languages of advantage)
UML/TOGAF
Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
Business modeling rule framework (BRF+)
Good knowledge in technical areas like CDS Views, AMDP, OOPs concept, Web services, ADBC concepts, RFC, and FPM
Workflow Management
Knowledge of databases features (S/4 HANA)
MDM processes in Material master incl. Connected objects (Material classification, Document info records, Engineering Change Master, Bill of Material & Purchase info records)
Documentation of technical functions and understanding of UML and TOGAF
