We are seeking a Senior SAP QA Analyst/Tester to join a high-profile SAP program in Toronto. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and execution of Quality Assurance strategies, ensuring that IT solutions meet rigorous business requirements and technical standards. You will focus on end-to-end testing cycles, quality audits, and process inspections, specifically within the SAP ecosystem. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented tester who can bridge the gap between complex system architecture and functional business needs, particularly within SAP Time and Attendance and payroll integration modules.
Job Responsibility:
Adhere to established QA methodologies and develop detailed QA plans for IT capital projects and operating initiatives
Audit project charters, solution architectures, and business requirements to ensure the delivery approach is aligned with the project scope
Create and maintain comprehensive test scripts for SAP projects, covering system functional, non-functional, and regression scenarios
Execute test scripts, record discrepancies, and manage the full defect lifecycle—from reporting to retesting and closure
Review and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM) to ensure 100% test coverage of approved business requirements and architecture
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders and coordinate non-functional/regression testing sessions
Assist with SAP End-User Training and provide clear technical guidance to relevant stakeholders
Requirements:
5+ years of software testing experience, with a strong preference for candidates with specific expertise in SAP Time and Attendance
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
Familiarity with SAP testing and management tools such as Azure DevOps and Tricentis (Tosca) is a significant asset
Solid understanding of time management processes, labor compliance, and payroll integration
Previous experience in the Public Service or Transit industry is highly desirable
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and present findings clearly to project leadership
Nice to have:
Familiarity with SAP testing and management tools such as Azure DevOps and Tricentis (Tosca) is a significant asset
