Job Description

Zalando’s ERP team is looking for a Berlin based Senior SAP BRIM Consultant to support the execution of our B2C strategy by developing and scaling core business processes using the SAP BRIM module, predominantly FI-CA. You will join a diverse and international team of 15 ERP consultants managing O2C and Document Compliance driven processes in three on-prem SAP S/4 HANA systems and associated integrations. Our work environment is fast-paced and we utilize the latest SAP technologies (S/4HANA 2023 FPS02, BTP, BDC). Teamwork and knowledge sharing come first in our team. We encourage innovative thinking and process improvement, automation, even beyond standard SAP practices. As a Senior SAP BRIM Consultant with emphasis on B2C and FI-CA, lesser on CI, you will offer support to the many stakeholders our broader team serves with a healthy mix of maintenance and project support. With your proven experience as a senior consultant, you will also help shape and grow the team and support processes moving forward, sharing and applying your experience, mentoring and guiding juniors.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide expert-level support, handling complex incidents and collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Lead the implementation of process improvements, projects, working closely with business teams to identify opportunities and drive change
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, conducting regular check-ins and ensuring their needs are met
  • Technically guiding and supporting a subteam of five, providing guidance and support to develop joint skills further
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation
  • Proactively analyze system behavior and process issues, identifying potential problems and implementing solutions
  • Conduct training sessions and facilitate knowledge sharing with team & stakeholders
  • Challenge the status quo with regards to established financial processes

Requirements

  • Proven & extensive experience working with FI-CA, including a deep understanding of broader BRIM functionalities such as Convergent Invoicing and integrations thereof with modules such as FI-CO, FI-GL, BCM, FSCM
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with complex system landscapes that continuously change and evolve

  • Strong understanding of the business impact of system issues and can effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Problem solver with excellent analytical skills and can effectively break down complex issues
