Job Description

We are working with a leading contractor in their field, to add talent to their SAP Basis Team. As Basis Consultant, you will be tasked with helping navigate their transformation from ECC to S/4HANA

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver SAP Basis administration, support, and troubleshooting across production and non-production environments
  • Plan and implement system installations, upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimisation and automation
  • Support SAP projects by providing technical Basis expertise
  • Work closely with infrastructure, network, database, and application teams to deliver reliable services
  • Maintain compliance with support, security, and operational standards
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
  • Support emerging SAP technologies, including cloud platforms and integration services

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' SAP Basis experience within enterprise environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP installations, upgrades, patching, system administration, and performance tuning
  • Experience supporting SAP solutions including ECC, BW etc
  • Exposure to SAP cloud technologies such as BTP and SuccessFactors
  • Experience with SAP transport management, system copy, and archiving tools
  • Excellent troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills

  • Leads a team with responsibilities and capabilities in SAP BASIS, providing guidance and expertise in all aspects of SAP administration
  • Drive operational excellence, provide level III incident and problem management, including resolution and root cause analysis of the most complex SAP Basis and database issues
