Job Responsibility:

  • Software development (ABAP) for SAP systems
  • Support productive applications (SAP ABAP)
  • Complete development activities such as coding, testing, documentation and maintenance support for SAP Custom Development solutions(ABAP Development)
  • Communicate development status according to the project plan and agreed timelines
  • Realization of software development requests in timely fashion there by escalating issues well in advance
  • Estimation for own tasks/activities
  • Be flexible in taking up different tasks in software development team as per the business requirement
  • Work closely with other development team members to ensure successful project completion
  • Team collaboration to support the team’s objectives and responsibilities
  • Prepare high-level technical design and development roadmap based on the blueprint
  • Handling of incidents, service requests, demands, and changes on need basis
  • Quality reviews of own and other developments to keep up the customer expectations
  • Provide technical guidance to junior developers
  • Support SAP upgrades, system enhancements, and patch implementations

Requirements:

  • BE/BTech Information technology with 8-10 years of hands-on professional experience in SAP software development
  • Software engineer with 8-10 years experience in software development (agile methodologies)
  • ABAP-RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Smartforms)
  • ABAP Object oriented programming
  • Experience in SAP 7.5 onwards new coding syntax
  • Adobe forms
  • WebDynpro
  • Understanding of FI, EQ, QM, SD, MF modules
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology
  • SAP certification(s) in ABAP or relevant modules

Nice to have:

  • SAP-HANA, SAP-UI5 and Fiori knowledge will be an added advantage
  • Experience with SAP Web Services, OData, and SAP Gateway is a plus
  • Experience with Core Data Services (CDS) views and annotations is a plus
  • Hands-on knowledge of ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) is a plus
  • Good to have knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services and extensions
  • Real experience in international projects (Europe or Nafta) is highly preferred
