We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to deliver large and complex Marketing Cloud Engagement implementations within enterprise-grade digital transformation projects. You are a hands-on technical expert, problem-solver, and trusted advisor who knows how to translate business and marketing needs into robust, scalable Marketing Cloud solutions. You stay current with new Salesforce features, APIs, and marketing technology trends, and you enjoy collaborating with consultants, architects, and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes. While your core strength lies in development and technical design, you also act as a key interface with clients, supporting solution definition, contributing to architecture decisions, and ensuring technical excellence from discovery through delivery.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, including: AMPscript, SSJS
HTML/CSS/Javascript
SQL for data extensions and segmentation
Journey Builder custom activities
API integrations (REST/SOAP)
Build scalable and maintainable Marketing Cloud solutions aligned with best practices and enterprise standards
Implement complex data models, automations, and integrations with CRM, Data 360, and third-party platforms
Ensure performance, security, and compliance (e.g. GDPR, consent management)
Translate business and technical requirements into clear, consistent, and complete technical designs
Contribute to solution architecture decisions related to Marketing Cloud and the broader mar-tech ecosystem
Advise on integration strategies and platform extensions required to support client use cases
Identify risks, constraints, and dependencies early and propose mitigation strategies
Act as a technical point of contact for clients during delivery phases
Support project kick-offs, discovery sessions, technical workshops, and proof-of-concept development
Collaborate closely with solution architects, consultants, project managers, and mixed delivery teams
Ensure quality of delivery through code reviews, documentation, and technical validation
Support pre-sales activities by contributing technical input to proposals, estimates, and solution designs
Assist with technical demos and proof-of-concepts
Stay up to date with emerging Salesforce and marketing technology trends and proactively suggest improvements and innovations
Requirements:
5–8+ years of experience in an agency, consulting, or technology environment
