I’m looking for a Salesforce expert who prioritizes scalable architecture over custom code. You will join a close knit tech team where you will lead the evolution of the Salesforce ecosystem. This is a permanent opportunity for a senior professional who bridges the gap between sophisticated development and strategic solution design. Location: Auckland Central. Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days in-office (Auckland Central) with flexible hours. The Opportunity: In this role, you aren't just an executor; you are a technical guardian. We are looking for a developer who understands the inside and out and advocates for the most efficient path to a business outcome. You wouldn’t just know how to write Apex; you’d also know when to write it and how to ensure it doesn't break the system 5 years from now! You will have the autonomy to drive best practices in a complex environment, ensuring the platform remains robust, secure, and future-proof.
Job Responsibility:
Create high-performance, scalable solutions using Apex, LWC, and Flow Builder, ensuring a declarative-first approach wherever possible
Build and maintain secure integrations with 3rd party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and modern middleware
Lead rigorous code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers to uphold high standards of code integrity
Drive continuous improvement in our release management process using CI/CD tools and Salesforce CLI
Partner with Product Owners to translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions that minimize technical debt
Requirements:
You must hold a valid NZ Work Visa or be a Resident/Citizen to apply
Significant experience in a Senior Developer role, with deep expertise in Asynchronous Apex and Lightning Web Components
A proven track record of designing solutions for Large Data Volumes (LDV) and complex sharing models
Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform's limits and the ability to implement effective design patterns (e.g., Trigger Frameworks)
Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and persuasively
Ideally, you hold Salesforce Platform Developer II or System/Application Architect certifications
