FinXL IT is seeking a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to join our consulting team for a long-term engagement with a prominent NSW Government agency. This role serves as the critical link between government business units and technical delivery teams, ensuring that Salesforce solutions are technically sound and deeply aligned with policy objectives and citizen-centric outcomes.
Job Responsibility
Lead elicitation workshops with department heads and frontline staff to uncover complex business needs
Translate requirements into actionable user stories and well-defined acceptance criteria
Document as-is and to-be business processes, identifying automation opportunities via Salesforce Flow
Own and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring the development team has a clear definition of Done
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including script creation and stakeholder feedback loops
Support change management and user adoption through training documentation and post-deployment support
Perform gap analysis and data mapping between legacy systems and Salesforce
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years as a BA, with at least 3 years focused on the Salesforce ecosystem (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Government Cloud)
Prior experience working within a NSW Government agency or similar regulated environment is highly desirable
Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
Exceptional ability to translate technical jargon into plain English for non-technical policy teams
Must hold a Salesforce Certified Business Analyst or Certified Administrator credential
Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (due to government security requirements)
