Job Responsibility:
Business Development: Develop and execute strategic go-to-market plans to identify, target, and acquire new GCC clients (new logos) in India
Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers (CXOs, CIOs, CHROs) within target client organizations and the broader industry
Solution Selling: Conduct consultative selling by understanding client needs, challenges, and business objectives, then collaborating with cross-functional teams (solution architects, consultants, delivery teams) to develop and present tailored proposals and solutions
Pipeline & Forecasting: Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring accurate forecasting and deal governance
Negotiation & Closure: Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure new business deals, working closely with legal and finance teams to ensure favorable terms and conditions
Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of GCC industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, leveraging this knowledge to refine strategies and identify new opportunities
Target Achievement: Meet and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets (quotas) consistently
Requirements:
10+ years of proven sales/business development experience in IT services, consulting, or a related industry
Strong experience selling to enterprise clients or, specifically, to Global Capability Centers/GICs in India
Demonstrated success in achieving multi-million-dollar sales targets
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is often preferred)
Deep understanding of the GCC ecosystem, operational models (e.g., Build-Operate-Transfer), and business culture in the Middle East region
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong consultative and solution-selling capabilities, with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
Proficiency in CRM software and market analysis tools
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams
