Blackbaud is seeking a results-driven and consultative Senior Sales Specialist, AI to join our newly formed AI Sales Team. This role will work in close partnership with the direct sales organization to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of Blackbaud’s AI-powered solutions across the U.S. market. As a Senior Sales Specialist, AI, you will bring deep expertise in AI technologies and their application to the social good sector, helping customers unlock new value through intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making. Job Responsibility:
Partner with sales teams for AI solution positioning
Lead customer discovery sessions
Deliver product demos
Develop pipeline through marketing collaboration
Educate the sales team on AI capabilities
Partner with Account Executives to position AI solutions effectively, support deal strategy, and engage in customer-facing conversations for new business and directly lead sales engagements with existing customers
Lead discovery sessions to understand customer needs and identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation
Maintain deep knowledge of Blackbaud’s AI offerings and roadmap, articulating value propositions and differentiators
Collaborate with marketing and sales to generate interest, qualify leads, and accelerate pipeline growth for AI solutions
Deliver compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops tailored to customer use cases
Provide customer insights to Product and Engineering teams to inform roadmap and innovation
Help educate the broader sales team on AI capabilities, use cases, and success stories
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, solution consulting, or sales engineering, preferably in AI, analytics, or data platforms
Strong understanding of AI concepts such as machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive modeling
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technologies for diverse audiences
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed sales environment
Passion for social impact and alignment with Blackbaud’s mission
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools
Nice to have:
