Liaise and strengthen relationship with main accounts in order to drive business and increase fare market share
Utilize Various Prospecting Resources to solicit and secure new business on behalf of hotel
Use company wide programs, sales developments, prospecting projects, Worldwide Sales offices customer events and reporting for business development
Follow up on all business inquiries and qualify business to generate transient room nights and associated revenue to impact RevPar performance
Create and execute account plans for assigned market territory to ensure maximum revenue and budgeted targets are achieved
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and direct sales goals including outside sales calls in the assigned territories, frequent visits to the three properties, prospecting calls, site inspections and fam trips
Maintain thorough and complete product knowledge of FS hotel properties and in-depth understanding of comp set’s Features/Advantages/Benefits
Perform customer site inspections
Conduct sales calls to the assigned territories to uncover needs and present solutions that will maximize booking opportunity and create strong customer relationships
Track and focus on conversion to ensure hotel revenue objectives are impacted and achieved
Establish and maintain strong Golden hygiene including account creation, account traces, contact information, client email lists, bookings, etc. in accordance with Four Seasons standards
Understand and maximize the utilization of all automated sales and reservations systems (Opera) involved with travel industry business
Participate in sales meetings and strategy meetings as required
Respond and maintain effective correspondence with all potential and existing clients
Produce and execute quarterly and annual action plans
Participation and contribution to annual Marketing Plan including proposing and managing territory sales expenses and travel budgets
Requirements
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in Europe
Applicants are required to have at least three to five years in a Sales Manager role overseeing the Europe, Russia and CIS markets
proven sales track record within the assigned markets (three to five years)
cluster experience
excellent negotiation skills and strong decision-making abilities
creative and innovative approach to sales activities
working computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Opera
fluency in English and Italian
