Job Responsibility:
Proactively solicit and manage large group/catering opportunities with significant revenue potential
Manage group/catering opportunities not handled by Event Booking Center
Actively upsell each business opportunity to maximize revenue
Achieve personal and team revenue goals
Verify proper and timely business turnover for service delivery
Drive customer loyalty through service excellence
Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers
Develop relationships within community to expand customer base
Execute brand's Service and Relationship Strategy
Conduct site inspections
Create contracts as required
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED with 2 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with no work experience required
Experience in proactively soliciting and managing large group/catering opportunities
Ability to upsell business opportunities to maximize revenue
Understanding of market competitors, economic trends, supply and demand
Negotiating skills and creative selling abilities
Ability to build and strengthen customer relationships
