The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth across the North American portfolio through exhibition stand and sponsorship sales. This role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on selling responsibilities. You will lead by example, manage key client relationships, mentor team members, and contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies to ensure targets are achieved and exceeded.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Head of TGE in executing the overall sales strategy
Identify growth opportunities, new markets, and revenue streams
Monitor competitor and market activity to inform sales planning
Deliver and exceed personal sales targets (stands & sponsorship)
Manage high-value/key accounts and strategic partnerships
Drive exhibitor acquisition and retention
Maximise sponsorship and upsell opportunities
Develop tailored proposals for major clients
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM data
Monitor sales performance against targets
Identify risks and implement corrective actions
Ensure adherence to company sales processes
Build and maintain strong relationships with exhibitors and sponsors
Act as trusted advisor to key accounts
Deliver exceptional client service throughout the sales cycle
Attend competitor and industry events for prospecting
Develop a systematic understanding of the renewable energy sector
Identify key new business prospects
Respond to inbound enquiries professionally and promptly
Prepare proposals and contracts to a high standard
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery
Requirements:
Proven B2B sales experience (events industry highly desirable)
Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Experience managing high-value accounts and strategic partnerships
Sales strategy and revenue planning capability
Advanced pipeline and CRM management skills
Excellent negotiation and closing skills
Leadership, mentoring, or team support experience
