Senior Sales Executive position at CVS Health focused on driving growth across all products with specific focus on new, large Public and Labor Opportunities. Responsible for business development activities, strategic planning, and building sustainable long-term relationships to generate new sales and continued use of company products and services.
Job Responsibility:
Drive year over year growth across all products with specific focus on new, large Public and Labor Opportunities
Partner with sales resources on strategic account development and strategy execution
Represent the needs of the aligned territory to senior leadership and shared services
Recommend product, pricing, distribution, and cost strategies to compete successfully
Perform business development activities in pursuit of new growth channels
Identify potential new clients in a specified territory or geographic area
Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plan to increase sales and maximize profitability
Deliver organized, polished presentations of solutions with benefits tied to constituent's business needs
Identify and capitalize on external emerging trends in the marketplace
Partner with senior leadership to negotiate and coordinate sales targets
Cultivate strong external relationships including employers, consulting firms, professional organizations
Cultivate strong internal relationships for effective cross-functional collaboration
Monitor market conditions to identify and implement shifts in strategic direction
Share relevant industry and competitive data within and across business units
Mentor and support service team, peers, and sales team
Lead and make formal finalist presentations
Requirements:
7-10 years of relevant health care industry experience with large complex national sales and/or client management
Public and Labor sector experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Salesforce experience a plus
Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers and outside consultants
Required to communicate with internal and external parties
Up to 50% required travel to offsite locations for in-person meetings
Ability to provide guidance, troubleshoot and answer complex questions related to an area of expertise
Ability to explain the relevant process elements and issues in relation to organizational issues and trends in sufficient detail
Health & Life license required
Bachelor's degree in business or related field, Master preferred, or equivalent work experience
