Job Responsibility:
Manage daily personal sales activity, pipelines, and administration
Deliver individual sales targets across the event
Proactively execute the show strategy across new and existing businesses
Deliver the campaign strategy as set by the Event Director and Show Manager — meeting goals for exhibitor numbers, exhibitor mix, stand and sponsorship sales, yield, and revenue
Identify and target key new business prospects
Visit and canvas at competitor and industry events to monitor trends and opportunities
Listen to customer needs and present appropriate solutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Arrange meetings with prospective clients to drive sales
Respond promptly to email and phone enquiries
Act as a key contact between CloserStill Media and existing or potential markets
Negotiate agreements and close sales effectively
Create detailed written proposals and send them promptly
Record and report personal sales in line with company processes
Review personal sales performance regularly, striving to exceed targets
Attend team meetings and share best practices
Participate in sales and personal development training sessions, applying new skills to your work
Maintain proactive, high levels of outbound activity through phone outreach and pre-arranged video meetings to meet activity and opportunity creation KPIs
Prepare for “power hours” with well-researched, targeted prospects
Share best practices in business development with colleagues and management
Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales, ideally within exhibitions, sponsorship, or events
Results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Confident in building and maintaining client relationships
