This role is responsible for driving business growth by managing customer accounts, securing new projects, and providing accurate and competitive proposals. As a Sales Engineer, you will bridge technical knowledge with client engagement, ensuring solutions are cost-effective, feasible, and aligned with customer needs while contributing to the company’s market presence.
Job Responsibility:
Manage new enquiries, costing, and quotation submissions
Conduct feasibility studies and provide accurate costing calculations
Compile and present quotations with management approval
Follow up on RFQ status for new and mass production projects
Prepare sales forecasts and periodic reports
Meet with customers to discuss RFQs and ensure timely submission
Collaborate with technical teams to meet client requirements
Lead project kick-off meetings and communicate customer expectations internally
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred)
Proven track record in sales, business development, or account management
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Good command of Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools
Ability to analyze technical data and translate into client proposals
Strong organizational and project management skills
Nice to have:
Knowledge of sheet metal process or manufacturing industry is an added advantage
