We’re looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to champion our mission across APAC. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role at the intersection of deep technical expertise and commercial storytelling. You’ll act as the primary product and technical expert throughout the sales cycle—partnering closely with Account Executives and partners to understand customer challenges and translate Promon’s capabilities into compelling, tailored value narratives. Beyond the sale, you’ll also support onboarding and act as a first-line technical resource, bridging language and time zone needs between customers in South Korea and our global teams in Oslo.
Job Responsibility:
Drive Technical Sales
Partner with Account Executives and channel partners to qualify opportunities, define success criteria, and maintain a strong pipeline
Run structured business and technical discovery across stakeholders ranging from engineers to CISOs
Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, outcome-driven narratives
Position Promon’s value in terms of tangible business outcomes such as risk reduction, compliance, fraud prevention, and faster release cycles
Demonstrate and Validate
Deliver hands-on product demonstrations, including live app shielding and integration workflows
Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements end-to-end to validate product fit
Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires with clear, compelling technical input
Engage Strategically
Provide input on solution scope to support pricing and contract processes
Use strong discovery and active listening to uncover deeper customer needs and build trust
Support Post-Sales Success
Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth handovers and onboarding
Provide first-line technical support in-region, collaborating closely with global support teams
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, or Security Consulting
Proficiency in Korean and English (spoken and written)
Proven ability to lead technical discovery across both technical and business stakeholders
Experience running Proofs of Concept and supporting RFI/RFP processes
Background in application security, mobile protection, fraud prevention, or related domains
Strong cognitive agility—able to quickly understand and adapt to new environments
Ability to manage multiple sales cycles simultaneously without losing quality
A natural sales mindset: curious, outcome-driven, and motivated by helping customers build a case for change
Nice to have:
Japanese language skills (in addition to English and Korean)
Familiarity with RASP and app shielding techniques
Experience with obfuscation or reverse engineering tools
