Responsible for identifying business opportunities within the market and concluding direct sales of Alfa Laval products (centrifuges, decanters, high speed separators and membrane systems) within the food & pharma business. This role will be focusing on Malaysia and Singapore markets.
Job Responsibility:
Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Products (centrifuges, decanters, high speed separators and membrane systems) with a focus in food & pharma markets within SG/MY
Analyze and understand market insights and the customers’ buying behaviour and make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets, by working closely with experienced sales or sales team leaders
Look for and manage leads from the market and customers, and convert them into real business opportunities to ensure a healthy pipeline
Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings and interactions with customers, focusing on customer needs understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services
Runs the operation by managing the customer grid and proactive planning in our tools
Develop value quotes reflecting the customer needs stressing the unique selling points and follow up
Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions
Travelling for customer meetings 30-50% of the time
Requirements:
Strong track record with minimum of 3 years sales experience in Food or/and Pharma Industry within Malaysia / Singapore
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
Highly motivated and target driven
Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
