Job Description:

We are looking for Senior Sales Engineer or Assistant Area Sales Manager for Flow Control business in Malaysia and Asia Pacific area to be our business partnership in succeeding business goals. The position is responsible for market and promote the company's products and services in Malaysia with an additional focus on delivering technical sales support, reports to Director Sales & Services, South East Asia. Location is Malaysia and travelling frequently.

Job Responsibility:

  • Actively pursuing sales leads by identifying potential customers, and scheduling appointments or meetings
  • Support negotiations on pricing and delivery schedules within authorized limits, ensuring that sales orders are finalized to meet revenue goals
  • To evaluate customer requirements and recommend suitable products and services to meet their needs
  • Facilitate communication within the organization by sharing sales leads, customer feedback, and insights on competitor activities with relevant contacts
  • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries and requests for information, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Quality, Safety, Environmental, and other management system guidelines, policies, practices, and directives
  • Support sales representatives in other administrative tasks as needed to facilitate the sales process
  • Market and promote the company's products and services in Malaysia
  • Delivering technical sales support
  • Travelling frequently

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in related engineering field (e.g., Mechanical, Electronic, Chemical)
  • Knowledge in Control valve and Safety Instrumented System, Refining and Chemicals, Pulp and Paper industry will be added advantage
  • Minimum Three (3) years of experiences in valve industry
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with experience in channel sales management considered a strong asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive and results-oriented approach
  • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategic business development plans
  • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners
  • Understanding client needs and ensuring that products or services meet those needs
  • Reporting and Analysis: Providing regular reports on business development activities, progress
  • Analyzing data to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies

  • Expertise in the valve industry encompassing knowledge of working principles, valve selection, and service requirements
