Job Description

Sales Associate – DefenseTech – USA, West Florida. Darwin has partnered with an ambitious early-stage DefenseTech start-up with huge potential. Currently expanding into developing autonomous systems, this is an excellent opportunity to join their new and growing maritime division. They are looking for a Sales Associate to support growth in 2026. The Sales Associate will play a central role in supporting commercial growth by managing customer interactions, developing new leads, and assisting with day-to-day sales activities. Working onsite alongside the Sales Director and engineering teams, this role acts as a vital link between customers and the business, bridging technical and commercial discussions.

Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in sales, ideally within Maritime or the Defense sector
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent
  • Able to work full-time onsite in West Florida
  • Valid driver’s license with the flexibility to travel for client meetings, demonstrations, and site visits

Nice to have

  • Previous Military experience
  • Knowledge of autonomous technology
  • Understanding of DOD processes
