Job Description:

At Charles Tyrwhitt our purpose is to “Make it easy for men to dress well” and we can’t do that without our specialist teams. This time, we’re on the lookout for a Senior Sales Assistant who will be working with Petra and the Team in our Belfast store. This contract is 16 hours per week (overtime also available). Candidates must be flexible to work on Saturdays and at least one weekday, including bank holidays. Our ideal candidate will have previous key holder experience, and will be available for store opening and closing shifts.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work with store management to ensure safe and legal operation
  • Opening and closing the store
  • Provide excellent customer service with expert product knowledge
  • Take ownership of custom, customer, and wedding appointments
  • Support Store Supervisor with inducting, training, and coaching Sales Assistants
  • Maximise sales opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Deliver high visual merchandising standards
  • Ensure store housekeeping standards
  • Adhere to company VM, Health & Safety guidelines and security processes
  • Process deliveries, transfers, and merchandise quickly, accurately, and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Retail experience (apparel or customer-facing preferred)
  • Some key-holder experience
  • Strong customer service and selling skills
  • Leads by example on service, selling, and shop floor standards
  • Enthusiastic, driven, and self-motivated
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
