Job Description:

Senior Sales Assistant role in the Bristol store, working 40 hours per week with overtime available. The role involves ensuring legal and safe store operations, providing expert customer service, achieving sales targets, maintaining visual standards, and supporting team training and development.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work with the store management team to ensure the store, people and operation trades safely and legally
  • Assume responsibilities of opening and closing the store
  • Take ownership with Custom, customer and wedding appointments
  • Support the Store Supervisor with inducting, training and coaching Sales Assistants
  • Maximise every sales opportunity to ensure sales targets and KPIs are achieved and exceeded
  • Deliver high visual merchandising standards
  • Ensure store housekeeping standards are continually achieved
  • Adhere to company VM, Health & Safety guidelines and security processes
  • Process deliveries, transfers and merchandise quickly, accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Retail experience (apparel or customer-facing preferred)
  • Some key-holder experience (desirable)
  • Strong customer service and selling skills
  • Leads by example on service, selling, and shop floor standards
  • Enthusiastic, driven, and self-motivated
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive in owning personal development
  • Team player with initiative and a positive attitude
