Job Description:

Senior Sales and Distribution Manager position at JW Marriott Phuket Chalong Bay Resort & Spa, responsible for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities, building long-term customer relationships, and achieving sales objectives in a luxury hospitality environment.

Job Responsibility:

Proactively solicit and handle sales opportunities
Ensure proper turnover of business for service delivery
Build long-term value-based customer relationships
Achieve personal sales goals
Coordinate sales efforts with off-property sales channels
Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers
Develop relationships within community
Manage relationships with key stakeholders
Participate in sales calls
Execute operational aspects of business booked
Identify new business to achieve revenue goals
Understand market conditions and competitors
Close best opportunities for the location
Provide exceptional customer service
Support company's service and relationship strategy

Requirements:

2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
3 years experience in sales and marketing or related professional area
OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
1 year experience in sales and marketing or related professional area
Experience in building long-term customer relationships
Knowledge of market trends and competitors
Understanding of target customer service expectations
