We are seeking a talented Senior Sales Analyst to join our team at Fortune Brands Innovations. The Senior Sales Analyst will translate complex data into clear, impactful insights, compelling storytelling, and innovative problem‑solving that enable smarter, data‑informed decisions across the retail business organization. This position partners closely with cross‑functional teams—including Marketing, Sales, Consumer Strategy, Innovation, and Finance—to identify business opportunities and guide strategic direction through actionable insights.
Job Responsibility:
Gather sales and POS data drawing out business implications and turning the data into actionable business insights
provide holistic storytelling versus tactical reporting
Build strong cross‑functional partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Consumer Strategy, Category Management, Finance, and vendor partners to align on priorities
Partner with sales directors, executives and other key stakeholders to create data driven stories with actionable insights
Drive successful development, maintenance and delivery of sustainable internal & customer-facing sales reporting, creating actionable insights to grow sales/operating income
Acquire, analyze and prepare market performance views specific to customer, channel, and product market penetration for the purposes of influencing data driven decisions for growth and expansion
Champion automation and data-driven improvements, including AI applications
Utilize customer POS data to create internal & customer-facing dashboard content
Provide forward looking market projections while partnering with sales and finance teams to develop monthly financial forecasts based on overall market and channel trends, customer actions and Master Lock growth initiatives
Partner with sales leaders and supply planning team to predict one-time customer order spikes
translate into financial implications
Provide leadership and/or support in annual business planning, go to market planning, pricing analysis, category management, channel management, customer portfolio selection and sales execution as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business, Finance, Marketing or related field is required
Proven experience in extracting, manipulating, and analyzing sales data to draw meaningful conclusions and deliver clear, actionable recommendations
Minimum of 3+ years working with forecasting, point‑of‑sale, or financial data and related analytics
Strong ability to translate complex analytical findings into compelling insights and persuasive storytelling
Background in sales and/or marketing analytics, ideally within consumer brands
experience collaborating with buying and planning teams at major U.S. retailers is a plus
Able to demonstrate examples of developing and communicating data‑driven insights that influenced strategic, fact‑based decision-making at senior leadership levels
Experience engaging and presenting to stakeholders at all organizational levels, including VP and executive leadership
Excellent communication skills with a track record of presenting data in a clear, decision‑ready format
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced expertise in Excel
Demonstrated ability to work with urgency, persistence, and strong problem‑solving skills to achieve objectives in challenging situations
Nice to have:
Background in sales and/or marketing analytics, ideally within consumer brands
