The Local Shops team in India is looking for a Senior Sales Account Manager responsible for the acquisition, growth and development of emerging whitespaces categories on the Amazon.in marketplace. The person who joins this team must share our passion and commitment for serving customers while also making Local Shops a preferred fulfilment channel for Heavy & Bulky and Emerging whitespaces categories. She/he must be able to balance thinking big, working with ambiguity while driving speed of experimentation. We are looking for self-starters with strong analytical skills and result-orientation who can make and execute independent, data-driven decisions and work with senior stakeholders across borders, both internally and externally. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for acquiring strategic sellers for Rapid Local Fulfilment. The candidate will partner with category and account management teams to onboard amenable sellers and selection on Sub-Same Day Speeds. Delivering the Local shops selection on SSD speeds will be your north star goal. The candidate will actively collaborate with other stakeholders like Finance, Product & Advertising teams to align initiatives to identify potential growth avenues and drive seller success. Job Responsibility:

Establish improvement plans and manage expectations with Category and Account Managers as appropriate
Use customer feedback, market growth trends, and analyze key metrics to contribute to strategic development of features and programs that accelerate seller's growth and improve their experience working with Amazon
Spot areas of unnecessary process or inefficiencies and work to simplify
Identify, optimize, and scale improvements that can benefit a large set of customers, e.g. driving efficiencies through tools and processes, simplifying SOPs, etc., working across multiple organizations
Develop mechanisms to create accountability
Requirements:
8+ years of digital sales, account management, business development, or partner management experience
Experience and understanding of the retail and wholesale landscape in India and exposure to prior interactions with sellers and distributors
Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
Experience managing and growing complex business relationship at scale
Nice to have:
Experience personally closing large complex deals end-to-end
Experience developing and executing sales strategies, tactics, plans, processes, systems and programs
