Job Description

Senior Sales Account Manager role for the Governmental Sector at Giza Systems, a leading systems integrator in the MEA region.

Job Responsibility

  • Identify and develop leads and sales opportunities across assigned accounts to achieve sales targets and assess opportunities in coordination with relevant managers
  • Prepare and maintain complete and up-to-date opportunity and lead information to ensure readiness for reporting at all times
  • Report opportunity assessments for common projects to management and steering committees as input to bid-decision processes
  • Build new client relationships and acquire new client accounts in coordination with the Sales Manager
  • Manage all communications, inquiries, and issues related to assigned accounts
  • Generate sales opportunities for the country within assigned accounts in line with defined targets
  • Participate in bidding decisions for country opportunities with the Sales Manager, Country Manager, or CCO in accordance with the Delegation of Authority
  • Follow up with COM and Project Managers to monitor project progress
  • Monitor profit and loss status of country projects in coordination with Project Managers and relevant stakeholders
  • Follow up on client proposals and monitor order processing and project cash flow
  • Conduct supplier price negotiations when required
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress reports on assigned accounts to the relevant Sales Manager
  • Update and maintain CRM records for all opportunities and accounts handled, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Schedule follow-up visits with accounts to ensure that all projects are running smoothly
  • Ensure the ongoing development of Industry knowledge by supporting & contributing to virtual industry Special Interest Groups
