Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Senior, Sales Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital advertising, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. As a local Senior, Sales Executive, you embody and understand the mission to help small and medium sized businesses grow, expand and find their consumers. As part of the Time Out Local Marketing Solutions team, you will be responsible for prospecting, presenting advertising solutions to local clients, handling execution of campaigns while building lasting relationships that drive revenue growth. With our expansion into our top cities, your role will be to grow a portfolio of clients across LA, Boston and beyond, providing local businesses with access to Time Out’s suite of promotional products.

Job Responsibility

  • Ability to develop prospect lists and drive lead generation
  • Master digital advertising products, track industry trends, and communicate solutions’ value to clients
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations, highlight digital advertising benefits, and respond to client questions and objections promptly
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key clients across multiple verticals, hospitality groups, and other partners
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly digital advertising sales targets while tracking and optimizing performance metrics
  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitive offerings, and consumer insights to position Time Out as a leading media partner
  • Provide feedback to the team on emerging trends and client needs

Requirements

  • 2-4 years experience in local digital advertising sales and account management or a related field within NYC DMA
  • additional DMA experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of the digital advertising industry, and its platforms and technologies
  • Passionately curious about people, places and local businesses
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
