Assurit is currently seeking an experienced Senior SailPoint Developer (ICAM / IdentityIQ) to support one of our clients. We are seeking a Senior SailPoint Developer to support a high-impact federal ICAM program. This role focuses on designing, developing, and onboarding applications into SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) within a large-scale enterprise environment. You will lead integration efforts, build custom solutions, and work closely with security and business stakeholders to ensure identity governance capabilities are scalable, secure, and aligned with federal compliance and audit requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead end-to-end application onboarding into SailPoint IdentityIQ, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Design and implement custom connectors, workflows, and integrations using Java and SailPoint APIs
  • Perform entitlement analysis, access mapping, and attribute modeling to support identity governance and compliance
  • Configure and validate provisioning, deprovisioning, certifications, and lifecycle event processes
  • Develop and maintain BeanShell scripts, rules, and XML configurations within IdentityIQ
  • Build and support integrations using RESTful and SOAP web services
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting, troubleshooting, and data migration
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to connectivity, schema discovery, and rule execution
  • Collaborate with application owners, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and onboarding artifacts
  • Supporting IT audit readiness, audit remediation, and audit response activities
  • Contributing to and maintaining system control documentation
  • Ensuring IAM solutions align with FISCAM, RMF, and NIST-based security frameworks
  • Supporting internal control validation and auditability of identity and access processes
  • Aligning identity governance solutions with financial system access controls and compliance requirements
  • Participating in IT audit reviews and control assessments

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in IT, cybersecurity, or identity and access management
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree)
  • Professional certification (CISSP, CISA, or equivalent)
  • Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) implementations
  • Proficiency in Java development
  • Experience developing custom connectors, workflows, and rules
  • Strong experience with BeanShell scripting
  • Experience working with XML configurations
  • Experience integrating with external systems using REST/SOAP services
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with SailPoint APIs
  • Understanding of LDAP, Active Directory, and directory services
  • Experience with access certifications, provisioning, and identity governance
  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments

  • SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer
  • Additional certifications (CISM, Security+, IAM-specific certifications)
  • Experience supporting federal programs, large enterprises, or audit-sensitive environments
  • Experience with financial systems or ERP platforms

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
