Job Description:

This role leads the planning and delivery of security operations across all non-stadia sites for UEFA EURO 2028 — including team base camps, hotels, training facilities and official UEFA locations. Working closely with the Director of Safety & Security and other functions, you will ensure that non-stadia security planning is robust, integrated and ready for delivery at scale.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading security planning for team facilities, hotels and non-stadia venues
  • Developing threat and risk evaluations aligned to tournament standards
  • Designing and implementing operational security plans
  • Leading security resource planning, supplier procurement and training
  • Managing private security contractors and overlay delivery
  • Producing clear reporting on progress, risks and mitigations

Requirements:

  • Strong experience planning security for complex, multi-site environments
  • Track record of stakeholder and supplier management
  • Experience developing and delivering security plans and resource models
  • Confident communicator with strong written and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working at pace and adapting plans as assumptions evolve

Nice to have:

  • Major event experience is beneficial but not essential
