Job Description:

PEXA is seeking an experienced Senior Safety and Wellbeing Partner to take ownership of the operational foundations of Health, Safety and Wellbeing across the Group. This is a part-time opportunity (3 or 4 days per week) focused on maintaining and strengthening our WHS management system, ensuring legislative compliance, and providing clear, reliable safety and wellbeing insights to senior leaders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the ongoing development and maintenance of HSW systems, policies and procedures
  • Ensure systems are practical, compliant and consistently applied
  • Oversee incident, hazard and risk reporting
  • Support WHS governance forums
  • Coordinate audits, reviews and assurance activities to ensure actions are effectively tracked and closed
  • Work closely with People & Culture, PX Partners and business leaders
  • Provide guidance on health and safety obligations
  • Support the delivery of practical training and resources

Requirements:

  • 5 + years proven experience in a HSW systems role
  • Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, ideally in a multi-jurisdictional environment
  • Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining and embedding WHS management systems
  • Confidence in governance, reporting and risk management frameworks
  • Experience managing audits, assurance activities and regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights
  • Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or a related discipline
